“Barka” is Polish for “lifeboat.” Wherever people require support, Barka is there, guided by the principle that every individual deserves dignity, assistance, and the opportunity for a better future. This underpins the vision and mission of Barka e.V.:

We strive for a regenerative and socially just world in which all people, regardless of origin, residency status, or life circumstances, have access to secure housing, supportive communities, and meaningful work.

MISSION:
Our mission is to provide homeless and housing-insecure EU citizens with the necessary support – including assistance with finding employment and accommodation – to enable them to live independent, self-determined lives.
